DTH drilling rig manufacturer’s 9 major precautions for parking hydraulic drilling rigs in winter
In winter, most areas have begun to implement shutdown orders, and hydraulic drilling rigs have stopped working and have begun the winter break. During the period when hydraulic drilling rigs are idle, everyone must not ignore their beloved machines. Here is an introduction to winter 9 things to note when parking a hydraulic drilling rig:
1. Winter enters the off-season of construction. Before the hydraulic drilling rig is idle and stored, you should first conduct a comprehensive physical examination of the hydraulic drilling rig to check whether there are faults and loose parts. The dust and soil on the machine body should also be cleaned.
2. When storing the drilling rig in winter, remember to take back the exposed oil cylinder as much as possible to avoid corrosion of the oil cylinder in humid environments such as snow in winter and prevent the oil cylinder from rusting. If it cannot shrink due to site reasons, you can apply a layer of butter on the surface of the piston rod.
3. The temperature is particularly cold in winter and when the hydraulic drilling rig needs to be parked for a long time, the coolant in the engine should be emptied. You should also observe whether the engine oil quality is normal. Old engine oil can easily corrode engine parts.
4. The location where the drilling rig is parked also requires special attention. It should be parked in a dry indoor environment. Due to limited conditions, most hydraulic drilling rigs are parked outdoors. At this time, a relatively flat place should be chosen and cannot be placed in a humid, saline-alkali, dusty, etc. environment for a long time.
5. When the drilling rig is parked outdoors for a long time, remember to cover the exposed oil cylinder with a cloth. For outdoor safety reasons, when storing the hydraulic rock drill, carefully check whether there are valuables or flammable and explosive items in the cab.
6. The hydraulic drilling rig should not be left alone after it is placed. The engine needs to be started and run once a month to avoid problems if it is not used for a long time. When the antifreeze is insufficient, add it in time and then start it again.
7. Do not throw away the diesel during winter maintenance. Diesel should be replaced with -10~30 type. Light diesel with low freezing point and good ignition performance should be selected; the engine oil should be replaced with thickened engine oil suitable for the weather in the area; at the same time, check whether the hydraulic system is If there is any oil leakage, replace it.
8. Due to the low temperature, the battery is prone to power feed in winter. The battery should be removed and stored in a warm room.
9. The air conditioning system should also be inspected regularly. The air conditioner should be operated for 3 to 5 minutes every month to prevent malfunctions if it is not used for a long time.
