Influence Of The Use Method And Environment Of Drill Rod On The Life Of Drill Rod In Rock Drilling
Details
Influence of the use method and environment of drill rod on the life of drill rod in rock drilling
During the use of drill pipe, its service life and degree of wear are closely related to the rock drilling method. This involves several aspects.
1. Different types of rock drills have different effects on drill rods
Rock drills are divided into two types: pneumatic rock drills and hydraulic rock drills. The force exerted by the hydraulic press on the drill rod is relatively small, and the force is continuously applied for a long time. However, the force exerted by the pneumatic motor on the drill rod is relatively large, and the duration of the force is relatively short. It can be seen that the damage to the drill rod by the pneumatic rock drill is greater than that of the hydraulic one during the use of two different types of rock drills. However, in China, pneumatic rock drills are generally used because of the cost and ease of use.
2. The power of the rock drill used is different, and the wear on the drill rod is also different.
The greater the working rate, the greater the force exerted on the drill rod, and at the same time, if the speed of the footage is too fast, the wear and consumption of the drill rod will also increase. The service life of the drill rod with the same specifications and performance can be extended by using a smaller power rock drill.
3. Different rock properties have different effects on the service life of drill rods
When the rock quality is relatively hard, the power used by the rock drill is relatively large, and the force transmitted to the drill rod is relatively large. When the rock quality is relatively soft, if the power used is still the same, the greater the impact rate is. The greater the return force, the greater the tensile stress of the chisel rod when air striking, and the greater the damage.
When using the drill rod in the rock drilling operation, there must be a relatively suitable propulsion force, and the power used must be combined with the softness and hardness of the rock, so as to further improve the service life of the drill rod.
