Maintenance Instructions
In order to use the anchor rod and drill rod correctly and ensure normal service life, the following points must be paid attention to:
1. According to the test comparison or the product recommendation of our factory, choose the correct drill rod type.
2. The company’s tapered drill products have the “G” trademark on the rod body and collar plate. From the end of the rod body, the “G” opening of the collar plate is concave to the right, the rod body is a convex mark, and the excellent drill mark is “G ︱” , “G ‖”, the general drill marks are “G”, “G-1″. In order to track product quality, there is also a batch number on the drill body.
3. It should be ensured that the drill rod and the drill bit cooperate well (consistent taper); if the taper of the drill rod is smaller than the taper of the drill bit, the tip will be easily broken.
4. For the drilling hole depth > 2.0 meters, it is recommended to use a sleeve rod, that is, first use a short drill rod to open the hole, and then use a long drill rod to continue drilling to improve the service life of the drill rod (according to the depth of the hole, it can be used 2 sockets or 3 sockets).
5. The opening should be stable, and the propelling air volume should be appropriately reduced to prevent the drill rod from working in a bent state, otherwise the service life of the drill rod will be shortened.
6. During the drilling and withdrawal process, try to avoid the bending force of the drill rod to improve the service life of the drill rod.
7. The air volume of the rock drill should be adjusted according to the site conditions (rock conditions) to ensure the normal operation of the rock drilling.
8. For the rock condition of the stuck drill, a cross-shaped drill bit should be used.
9. The user shall not arbitrarily change the structure of the drill rod or use it after reprocessing, so as not to affect the normal service life of the drill rod.
10. When the ordinary drill rod is prone to early batch fracture in normal use, the excellent drill should be replaced; when the excellent drill is not used, the large-sized drill rod should be replaced, or the wind pressure should be reduced.
11. The diameter of the drill rod body should match the power of the rock drill, and if the power is large, a large-sized drill rod should be used.
